Mathematics does appear to have a bit of a learning tree to it. However, Mathematics has several learning paths. Think of Mathematics like an RPG character creation system. Just as there are character classes, each with their own unique skills to master, so does Mathematics. The learning roadmap is not entirely a linear sequential ladder. Furthermore, Mathematics becomes enjoyable and convenient to understand when pairing the learning of Logic, Reasoning, and Greco-Roman philosophy.
